Founder: Arthur Burchett
Arthur launched Equality Education with a mission to bridge the gap between employers who were struggling to find skilled workers and individuals who were unemployed due to lack of job opportunities. Drawing on his extensive 12-year experience in the training industry, Arthur realised that both sides of the employment crisis needed a chance to succeed. Having climbed up the career ladder from a humble working-class background, Arthur empathised with the job seekers and recognised that they just needed an opportunity to showcase their abilities. However, he also understood the employers’ apprehensions and sought ways to ease their concerns. This led him to explore the various government incentives available for the hiring and training of staff in the hospitality sector. Arthur’s passion for helping the unemployed and underprivileged community led him to Townsville, where he worked on multiple initiatives to provide certified training courses to individuals from North Queensland. In 2023, Arthur’s determination to make a difference in people’s lives led him to establish Equality Education, a platform where he could share his expertise in training and life experience to deliver the best outcomes for businesses and students who wanted to gain qualifications. With his infectious laughter and optimistic outlook, Arthur has earned a reputation as a respected leader in the training industry, known for his integrity and unwavering commitment to his cause.
Partner: Michael Morgan
After retiring from being a professional athlete the main reason Michael decided to get involved with starting up Equality Education is Michael shares Arthurs passion for providing high-quality training services to individuals and organisations, all while upholding strong ethical principles. As someone who values community involvement, Michael is particularly drawn to Equality Educations commitment to helping people develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Michael believes that by working together, we can make a positive impact on the world around us and help individuals achieve their full potential.
