Hannah’s journey is one of resilience, hope, and transformation. For six months, she searched tirelessly for work, only to face rejection after rejection. Despite holding a Certificate III in Hospitality and attending every class, Hannah was left unsupported when it came to securing employment. “I felt so disappointed,” she shared, reflecting on her experience with a training provider that offered little more than a piece of paper.
Hannah has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and had struggled to access funding through NDIS. Feeling stuck and overlooked, she attended an information session with Equality Education. Little did she know, her life was about to change.
A Miracle in the Making
“Meeting Equality Education was an absolute miracle for me,” Hannah says. By the time she walked out of that information session, conversations had already started to arrange her a job interview. It wasn’t just about the course; it was about being seen, supported, and believed in.
Arthur Burchett, the founder and qualified trainer of Equality Education, made it clear from the start that he wasn’t there to offer empty promises. His approach was firm, honest, and deeply personal. He shared his own journey and showed genuine care for each student’s success.
“Arthur kept telling me to stop saying I have a disability—that it’s just a challenge and that he would find a solution to help me overcome any challenge,” Hannah recalls. For someone who had felt invisible for so long, this level of care was life-changing.
Real Training, Real Outcomes
Equality Education doesn’t just talk the talk—they deliver results. For Hannah, this meant landing a job at Subway within a week of enrolling. “I couldn’t stop jumping and shaking when I was told I got the job,” she says with joy. “Arthur got me the job. I told my mum as soon as I got off the bus!”
What made Equality Education stand out wasn’t just their dedication to finding Hannah a job. They actively catered to her needs, providing solutions that other providers didn’t bother to consider. For example, Hannah struggles with heat, and Arthur ensured accommodations were made to address this challenge.
Six Months of Success
Today, Hannah has been working 25 hours a week for six months. She’s made new friends, gained confidence, and found a supportive workplace. She encourages anyone who feels stuck or unheard to reach out to Equality Education.
“The difference with this course is that my needs were catered for, and I got the job while I was enrolling,” she says. “It’s the best course I’ve ever done. Arthur’s honesty and passion make all the difference.”
A Message from Arthur
Arthur’s commitment to building a gold-standard Registered Training Organisation stems from his belief in ethical training and meaningful outcomes. “I built this RTO because I wanted to show the industry that we can make real, life-changing differences for people like Hannah,” he says. “It’s about moving away from short cuts and unethical practices and proving that real training leads to real outcomes.”
Transforming Lives, One Student at a Time
Hannah’s story is a testament to the power of genuine, ethical training. For those who feel unseen, unheard, or stuck, Equality Education is proof that we can all achieve any goals with the right support.
