From the very beginning, Teagan made sure the process was simple and stress-free, answering all his questions and ensuring he felt comfortable and supported. Throughout the Barista training, Danyal worked closely with his trainer, who guided him through every step of the process, operating the espresso machine, adjusting grind consistency and perfecting the froth on his milk. Each session allowed him to gain new skills and more importantly, build self-belief. With patience and encouragement, Danyal began to shine. His focus, effort and pride in every cup he made reflected how far he’d come.
But Danyal’s experience at Equality Education went beyond coffee-making. One of his proudest achievements came when he learned to cook using an air fryer for the very first time. With support from the team, he cooked food for himself and even prepared a meal for others in the Equality Education office. That moment was a huge step in confidence and independence.
